any release date for yama now that everything's passed?

We'll share a release date when we've got one that we know we'll hit!

I know slayer is getting a number of updates sometime soon, is there any chance that will include adding fiendish ashes to the Icefiend drop table?

They are currently one of the lowest value loot dropping monsters in the entire game, and I think they were just overlooked when demonic ashes were added a while back.

Will be working on the Summer Sweep-Up so have made a note of this one!

Hey u/JagexRach u/JagexGoblin

Any followup on this change to have autocast remembering the selected spell when switching from Lunar or Ancients spellbook?

Raised as a suggestion but we've got a pretty hefty backlog, if it's doable then it's something we'll be able to do down the line but not at a stage where I could give a remote frame of reference for a release.

Given the controversial nature of surge pots, could they be shelved until they're figured out? Currently the persons that voted yes are unsatisfied with how it works as suggested and the persons that voted no don't want it in the game at all.

They passed a poll, we're not going to shelve them. They'll release and enter the game in low quantities, we'll assess their actual power in practise and go from there - whether that's improvements to useability, reductions/increases in availability, or their position in the game at all.

The shield designs on the Shades of Mort'ton chests look really obtrusive, but I assume they were designed with colorblind accessibility in mind?

Equal parts accessibility and mobile readability on smaller displays.

Would still love Colo to be a safe death…

Would sooner see Fight Caves, CoX, Inferno be made unsafe, it's meant to be hardcore!

While you’re at it, can we PLEASE make Task Extends, Unlocks, etc a one-time point fee? And then allow them to be freely toggled on and off at will? It feels bad that the only way to turn them off is to spend points later if you want to reactivate them.

We've got a bunch cooking on Slayer, wait and see!

You can now mouse over any fairy ring you have unlocked on the world map to be reminded of its code.

Tell me honestly Jagex, you watched AlienFood struggle with this, didn't you.

We did! Though this has been in the backlog for a while. Watching people like Alien Food or MadSeasonShow is always a pretty nice measure of how players we don't usually hear from actually interact with the game, MadSeasonShow in particular since his prior experience is completely 0.

Great to see Shades of Morton getting an update! But can the coffin be more user-friendly? Trying to remove a single type of remains and getting a full menu of every possible type feels clunky. A simpler way to empty would be a huge QoL improvement! Maybe this could be taken up for an upcoming QoL fix?

Is this purely for wanting to light pyres and use remains or more from a banking perspective?

For example when lighting pyres it could also grab one from your coffin as well as your inventory.

Just trying to determine the use case being requested :)

Would be great to replace the ‘configure’ option with just ‘check’ and ‘empty’ instead. Same for the log basket/fish sack, as others have suggested.

Also, being able to use shades directly from the coffin when burning them would be a solid QoL improvement.

Thanks for the reply, u/JagexRoq!

Just an FYI, Objects have a limited about of options which can appear when you right click them. Often when we have to use something like "configure" its because there isn't any more available for us to have things separated nicely. :(

Appreciate the response!
