s | plans have existed in runescape since |
---|---|
s | the game's release some clans are even |
s | older than many of you in the audience |
s | they've existed in old school without |
s | any official supports all whilst acting |
s | as the backbone of the community and so |
s | we've reached out to some clan leaders |
s | to ask just what their clan means to |
s | them I first got involved in planning in |
s | early 2009 several months after joining |
s | divine forces all swiftly promoted up |
s | the ranks and became an official now |
s | leader from March 2018 onwards from my |
s | original decision to join divine forces |
s | I've never looked back and would |
s | consider divine forces and its community |
s | my runescape home if posted multiple |
s | real-life meetings in Hamsterdam London |
s | and Budapest and Newcastle who get their |
s | initial feeling list if it odd to me |
s | people often online game be short-lived |
s | and it's just like meeting a friend |
s | you've known for years the experiences |
s | I've had over the years the ups and the |
s | downs I would not change it for any |
s | other online gaming experience the |
s | friendships I've made adversity I've |
s | encountered and just the added fun of |
s | being able to participate in something |
s | bigger than myself on the game it's well |
s | worth the time and effort no matter your |
s | in-game goals is skilling decaying DMing |
s | mind Manning having the community of |
s | people keeps you grounded in the game |
s | does motivate you to strive for better |
s | every time you play |
s | hello my name is mato i'm a staff member |
s | and co-leader of totus an old school |
s | runescape plan that was established in |
s | January 2017 having the opportunity to |
s | mingle with like-minded individuals on a |
s | daily basis makes gameplay overall more |
s | enjoyable being able to discuss what |
s | you're currently doing to seek out clan |
s | members who want to complete content |
s | with you and to look forward to updates |
s | that effect our style of playing all |
s | enhance the experience giving you a |
s | strong sense of community I would |
s | personally encourage anyone regardless |
s | of their play style to seek our clan |
s | that's right for them and become parson |
s | that could potentially change the way |
s | they see the game anyone who's willing |
s | to put in that initial bit of effort to |
s | seek out a potential new home will soon |
s | realize that there's a whole other side |
s | of the game that's hidden away a side |
s | that only exists because of the player |
s | base plans are a powerful exciting |
s | mechanic that I believe has been nothing |
s | but positive for the birth of our SRS |
s | and his iconic budding player base my |
s | name is Burton and I'm the leader of the |
s | ermine p.m. clan solitaire over this |
s | past year and I've had the privilege to |
s | lead solitaire and with that also the |
s | opportunity to meet all the amazing |
s | people as in the clan it means a lot to |
s | me it's gonna be hard to pinpoint just |
s | one memorable moment with solitaire but |
s | there's two situations that comes to |
s | mind and I think about it first of all |
s | I'm being first-ever triple looted whole |
s | school and chambers Dussehra and also |
s | just the first week of the TOB release |
s | ending it all by being the first |
s | ironmouth to complete it definitely a |
s | great moment |
s | I would definitely recommend being an |
s | icon just because there's so many |
s | positive benefits by being a part of |
s | that such a community within runescape |
s | having a lot of like-minded people |
s | around you having the ability to find |
s | new friends and having people to talk to |
s | hey everyone my name is revin some of |
s | you may recognize my voice as one of the |
s | casters from the Deadman tournament or |
s | the PvP all-stars but some of you may |
s | know my name from the runescape planning |
s | scene where I've been active since the |
s | release of the old school servers now I |
s | actually joined my first clan back in |
s | like 2002 2003 it was actually called |
s | the hobbits of runescape I know the name |
s | does it sound too fearsome but this is |
s | the plant that first exposed me to the |
s | wilderness now back in my clan we did a |
s | lot of portal pk and after a couple of |
s | those events I was hooked so when the |
s | old school servers were first released I |
s | joined a clan called fatality and that's |
s | where I learned about the strategy and |
s | how competitive planning actually was I |
s | eventually became a warlord and back |
s | clan and I've led many fights each |
s | weekend and throughout the week |
s | the community makes the plan for me and |
s | a lot of these plans that been in create |
s | a culture that you want to be a part of |
s | then you look forward to coming on |
s | teamspeak and interacting with your |
s | fellow climber members each and every |
s | day planning is very rewarding |
s | especially if you find the right |
s | community to be around and for those of |
s | you who decide to give it a shot I hope |
s | you find out welcoming communities as I |
s | have |
