[2020] Amulet of avarice post rev changes?

I know a lot of people consider it dead content, but I would every now and then grab the amulet of avarice and go farm green dragons in low level rev cave. easy to camp and quick to kill, and the amulet made it nice not to have to bank every so many kills. i've done trips where i collect 100+ bones and hides in one shot because they drop noted, plus all the other assorted junk, and you rarely ever saw a pker around. With the removal of NPCs from the rev cave, is this amulet now totally useless? anyone know?
