Before the hate, the this game sucks.. it's not live service.. all the rhetoric that happens on any post talking about it's future. Let's just sit back and realize, we all liked this game at one point or still did. Enough to be active in the community and the sub. If things have changed with outrider's future... I would like to know.
Have they abandoned the idea of dlc?
I mean that's what the posts says. If something's change can you let us know. We all know the numbers they posted. When I say we i mean the people who has been here since the beginning demo days that saw numbers. Asking a question like I'm asking isn't that far fetched It's not like u/thearcan doesn't reply. Sure he can't reply to some things but if something's changed for the future of the game I don't see the issue and asking.
As a policy, we (as in any employee or probably any public traded company) don't comment on anything financial performance or sales related. The company makes those statements only in press releases or financial results. The reason is because anything that is said about these matters can affect the stock price of said publicly traded company.
From the Outriders team side - nothing has changed with regards to our plans and what we have previously commented upon. That's all I can say today.
The article you've linked is providing information in exactly the way that /u/engineeeeer7 and /u/-Certified- have pointed out. Financial results are always comparative simply because financial results need to measure or comment on a performance trend of the company. That can only be done by comparing one period of time against another period of time.
