@PaulTassi That way we can ensure that we're actually addressing the core concerns, rather than implementing a change that may fix the rates in one area of gameplay (for one group of players) but makes other gameplay aspects obsolete.Or implementing a change that doesn't quite hit the mark.
@PaulTassi We just talked a bit more about the complexity of the drop rate question here: https://www.reddit.com/r/outriders/comments/nmhv9a/anyone_else_feeling_dread_and_deja_vu_about_the/gzqnbf7/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Understanding goes both ways - With a better community understanding of the system, we in turn can also have a better understanding of the specific ways to address things.

@Xbl_Shect0r @HailigerMosef It was the issue that was causing players to take a lot more damage - so it had a gameplay impact that was not just visual.
@HailigerMosef The difficulty was that the damage mitigation issue was a two-fold issue.
One issue whereby armour values were not being properly calculated.
One whereby certain monsters attacks were two-hitting, thus circumventing the the spike damage protection.
Related but separate issues.
Outriders has been updated!
Full Patch Notes here:
@xBillTheGamer @Gamerguy1980DH The patch notes will be shared when the maintenance commences and the patch is confirmed to have been deployed.
The maintenance is required in order to ensure that all players are on the same build (rather than half the population running the old version).
@MysticalWolf162 Patch notes will be shared as soon as the patch is live. They will also be available in-game with the MOTD system.
In 45 minutes from now, at 16:00 BST / 15:00 UTC, Outriders will enter a 30 minute maintenance.
Outriders will be patched during this maintenance, so please keep an eye out for for the update and ensure you download it before relaunching the game.
@Aiylra This won't be fixed in today's patch, but it is on our radar for a future patch.

We know that this isn't what you wanted to hear today, but we do want to assure you that this short delay won't impact the other fixes that we are already prepping for the next patch cycle and we will share more news of these as soon as we can.
3/3
As we are not comfortable releasing the patch with this issue in place, we need to take a couple of days to address it.
This current patch is now re-scheduled to be released early next week, pending final confirmation that the above mentioned issue has been resolved.
2/3
Our final tests of today's planned patch uncovered an issue that could pose a risk to the stability of the overall patch, so it will not release today.

@ApacheAndroid We want to ensure the game is stable before looking at balancing, since bugs can impact the overall balance in an unintended way, and balancing against bugs isn't ideal.

@TheUncleGhandi Of course - Stability of the base experience continues to be our primary priority.
