@adeIaidekins The progression system will not be backdated. There were a lot technical constraints around doing that and the intent is to give players a system to interact with while they play.
@ImPureShield Player levels are part of the new progression system. Your hero levels will contribute to it. I forgot to mention it on stream today.
@ImPureShield @OWCavalry Player levels are a part of this system as well. The sum total of your hero levels will contribute to your total player level. It was an oversight of me to not mention it on today's stream. I get nervous sometimes!☺️

@OwReise I'd like for us to investigate more, but so far it seems as prevalent in QP and Ranked, and almost as prevalent (slightly less) in OW2 as the original game.
