Well, yes, but don't get me wrong, I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we appreciate all you do for the game, but... What about the most important update of all? The one thing that could launch this game to the top of the gaming world. The one thing that unites us...

...

When will we be able to pet the pub cats?

When will we finally be able to squish those soft cheeks? Give scritches in all the right spots? Gaze into the eyes of absolute purfection?

When, u/OwlcatStarrok? Why do you keep denying us this very basic human need? It's just not fair that we keep hearing their soft mews, but can never attain that which is the peak of every game. We must pet the kitties and the puppers.

You can pet Tiger :)

Oh wow, I've been distracted today, so I missed this. Also is this an update on Wednesday? Or did I just lose track of time and it is actually Thursday? XD

Also someone poor out a drink for poor Yaker.

  • Game checking a non-used Etude to determine whether Yaker is alive during a single answer in Regill's Chapter 5 quest making it impossible to suggest him taking over Regill's squad (Answer Guid: adefb256115c4a648879cf1424866bd8, unused etude YakerSurviveC5 Guid: 9e7860a33aebc914189ce629a02f7e28)
  • (Through the Ashes) During book event 3, when choosing Langrat for "intervening in the mugging," if his quest has been completed, you go to a book page (GUID:785919407f17489ebb1a3d5df3db1be9) different than if his quest was not completed. His quest completed book page continues to the book page for successfully stopping the mugging (GUID: d816bd65900149e2ac857925d6e37e96). However this page does not have a check for Langrat's success, so there would be no resolution if Langrat was chosen with his quest completed.
  • Azata island rest cutscene (relevant gate GUID a2f7a7c5bda46e746bc0ed3857c8c5e9) determines whether you should get the CookieDemonSculptureBuff (GUID ba35ae51f72275d46aeda333fab68d39) based on FieldofWonder_Scultpure_Timer (GUID 10375f60e5c70694f9296bf9e4b68e5c). However based on other buffs in the same gate, it likely is supposed to be FieldofWonder_Scultpure_Done (GUID 39d634c8b8662f849bde426ab3e4dba7) as the sculpture buff is the only one of the buffs that has its availability "expire" since the Timer only lasts for 1 day.
  • Xantir says he is giving an Aeon player a new spell he developed if you successfully change the timeline. However, the ability he gives in the cue (GUID: 3952c935b1259f740a61474302634f2d) is Mythic Suppression, which every Aeon player should already have access to since it is given at Aeon Level 3 (Mythic level total 5). So it just seems like a very odd reward.
  • The Green Faith religion (GUID: 99a7a8f13c1300c42878558fa9471e2f) has multiple unique dialogue options (including one that was added in the Love Beyond Death Free DLC), but it is not selectable. (Possibly an intentional cut?)
  • During Regill Q2, Aeons have a unique option to call out the cultist at the front gate (GUID: 94140421fe12fa449999326a6f2d184e). However when Regill is evaluating your performance at the end of the quest (relevant GUID: aa9ee00e9fc649e40a9849d8ef2fdd30), there is no check for the Aeon option meaning that taking the Aeon option makes it impossible to get the best performance even though it has the exact same outcome as the other choices for the good result.
  • (Inevitable Excess) When confronting Yozz, the Aeon option (GUID: 978c025d0dd24eeb86de29e1f12fea2f) allows you to bypass a skill check to see that he is going to betray you. However, passing the skill check allows you to select an option to give him a debuff when he betrays you (GUID: fb9dbfab31ff4c1d9cdd59ea2eb5a66e). This answer does not check the Aeon option though. So an Aeon is forced to select a buff for him even though they clearly see that he is planning to betray them as the only ways to exit the conversation for an Aeon are the three buff options.
  • The Steward of Stein drops (GUID:a883ee802eed74a4781091ba80f272eb) a "helmet" (GUID: a873336aecf2b424a93bd52c3cfadf72) this helmet does nothing. It is named StewardsHelmet_temp. There is another helmet StewardsHelmet (GUID: bc12035620054e8281ac281b71f17b23), which actually does do something, but does not appear to be given to the player ever. I suspect this is a Bone Amulet situation where the player was supposed to trade the temp item for the actual item after a scene, but the trade was never programmed leaving the player with a useless item.
  • On the Demon path, when Yozz encounters the player in Chapter 5, the player's Freedom score is calculated (GUID: 78649a90ced1c1a45b4d77165eafc537). As part of this, the player gains a freedom point if the ProfaneGift etude is playing and loses a point if it is not playing. I think this is inverse of the intent since freedom points are in opposition to following Nocticula's orders and Profane Gift is willfully choosing to let her have control over you.
  • Don't know if this is a bug or not, but DemonFreedom1 (GUID: f4cd121d62ec7b443aa058170f66e0d8) is double counted for Freedom points since it increases Freedom points when it starts and is then counted again when meeting Yozz in Chapter 5 (GUID: 78649a90ced1c1a45b4d77165eafc537). Conversely, DemonFreedom2 (GUID:22a502fdfe237d444838cc6f35b2fb62) is not counted in the Freedom score at all. Note that if DemonFreedom2 were to be added to the score while DemonFreedom1 is still being double counted, it would be possible to exceed the Freedom range (0-10) resulting in you being so free you escape being a TotalFreedom Demon.
  • TreeInFleshmarket does not appear to started when you finish the Azata Mythic Quest in Chapter 4 resulting in four cues (GUIDs: 8495bc221b04d79438501d4b2104d087, c35b061c7401c5644b61e15fa3fdc3ea, 3ab2bc32ccd4e4944988b05f456fc845, and a63f46c0d06820441b9d48c752d11fd2) being unviewable. Possibly meant to be set in the cue (GUID: 7f24da7dd3cfe9a4da8b087b62bf3991) where AzataFleshmarketDestroyed is set? The two etudes seem like they are meant to indicate the same thing at least as both have "azata dracaris" as their tooltip indicator in cues that rely on them.
  • When talking to Pharasma, she has a cue that is meant to exclusive to the Demon Ending (cue GUID: 3094c9e9557c43d29610dbd3eec15b35). However, that cue is not triggering in play because another cue (GUID: 01295bebb6b9413bbf705aa1b1a707a8, hereafter referred to as Cue2) is overly broad. In all the cues that lead into these two cues, Cue2 is called before the Demon line. The requirements for Cue2 are essentially that the player did not choose sacrifice and did not change the past. While the Demon ending is variant of the Sacrifice ending, it doesn't actually trigger the PlayerSactificed etude (probably because player survives the Demon Ending so the sacrificed ending slides don't fit). So as a result, Cue2 is triggered before the check for the Demon cue occurs. Two possible solutions to this would be to add a requirement of Not Ending_Demon Playing for Cue 2 or to reverse the order of the cues in all the cues that call them (GUIDs: da7646b4ce8e4e658ee92aa02877ec17, abafa9f923204d5a96cb13bec9ab7771, d7c1d87165af414ebffbd4f50151af49, 9377e7d23348467ab12a3de0a94246fc, f8b124e1f6584f54a9a3f80e85973a0c).
  • Okay this one is a little complex to explain. At the start of Chapter 5 after reclaiming Drezen, Anevia has a conversation with the Commander, KTC_AneviaStart_Dialogue (GUID: 6bcb738ad2586b14bb3c82b4eaf5a8fb). During this conversation, Anevia can make comments based on your Mythic Path. The text for these comments assume that you chose your Mythic Path's ultimate attack before the Goddess Summit. For example, the Aeon one mentions that you depowered demons before sending them away or the Trickster one makes reference to the Fool King. The game accounts for whether you made the choice or not by having a Cue (Guid: f20c5d72f04acc04dbcac3de10b1c5c2) that you fork into if you chose the Legend ultimate attack. Problem is that this fork is not taken if you do something like use the Gold Dragon ultimate attack and then choose to stay as a Trickster. So it is possible for you to get the slide about the Fool King in Drezen even if he died in Chapter 3 making you ineligible for the Trickster ultimate attack. Or you can get the text for sending the demons away as an Aeon even if you are a renegade aeon that was unable to do that. My proposed solution would be to add alternate conditions to the previously mentioned for for (Dragon_UsedDragonUltimate and Not (PlayerIsDragon)) or (Locust_UsedLocustUltimate and Not (PlayerIsLocust)) as that should account for any instances where the player did not use the ultimate for their current Mythic Path.
  • There is a romance dialogue for Sosiel, KTC_SosielCards_Again_Dialogue (GUID: 13466f342554cd64eaa5bfbc491ebb22), that seems to be complete but appears to never fire.

Added a few more for you Starrok.

And Azata guide should be updated in a couple of minutes.

Holy hell xD Thank you, again

Went through them with the team, all of these are fixed and should land in 1.4. Don't duplicate them in the next batch unless something doesn't work in 1.4 :)
