Both I believe. It was a rarely used case that could cause a lot of complicated problems with your save.
So what happens with game files that already have a character built with this?? Are they broken? “Grandfathered” in? Lol. Fascinating.
For such cases there's always an inbuilt converter that either resets your skills or otherwise makes everything work after such changes.

Duplicate demon wings*. There were cases where you had two pairs of wings clipping into each other. That was fixed.

I’m sorry, WHAT? Now this is just silly. Demon already needed mods to be on par with other mystics, now I also need a visual mod to look descent? Like what can even the reason be? The Demon MC portrait has wings!

- Mythic skeleton companion rework
- Undead Staunton Vhane has his characteristics and build changed (only for a new games or for the saves before he joins)
- The Mythic Lich exclusive game ending now only available to the liches who still possess their phylactery
But well, we loose the demon MP wings to make demon MP even less appealing...

Um.. my game is broken now. I made a new game yesterday, and revisited different save files, so I know it was working yesterday.
I did not buy the new DLC, but tried to start a new base game today, and it won't let me pick a portrait, then all the class options do not appear so I cannot progress.
Please fix :(
Edit: And yes, I did download the new patch. I'm on 2.2.0as with no DLC installed.
Mods. Update your mods. Or use the beta branches to go back to the previous version while they are not updated. Chargen issues are from Toybox afaik

Kinda tempted to abandon my current playthrough (act 5 legend) and reroll lol, demon path and legend weren't what i was expecting. Now to decide between lich, aeon, or angel for my "canon" run...hmm Think i'll not go legend either way, didn't realize there isn't much actual story content for it in act 5
Pick Angel if you love heroic/epic feel. Hand of the Inheritor appearing for the first time was one of my brightest moments in the game.

Hope someone sees this, Azatas incredible might ability is mega bugged and doesn't work at all anymore for any weapon or ability. It gets overwritten by any other morale bonus

That is indeed the risk of mods.
Loading screen issue is usually caused by corrupted cache. Clean up all files except saved games, portraits and screenshots from the following folder: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous

Disabling a mod on an already existing save doesn't help, it changes the save irreversibly. I'd advise to wait for the mod to update and then check again.

If you haven't used mods, you should be just fine. If you did, you may want to wait for them to be updated before continuing.

It doesn't have any version number, just the date. Currently it's a full analogue of 2.2.
If we bought the PS4 version on a PS5 will it update for free? Or are we going to need to buy it again? Already bought the game twice.
