Hey guys, it seems like there's some confusion over how this forum is moderated so let me clarify a bit.

The Phasmophobia Steam Community moderators (like me) are not involved in the development of the game itself. While the developers at Kinetic Games do have moderation ability in this forum (you can see this on a few of the pinned posts) they are not actually involved in handling reports, deleting inappropriate posts, etc. The ones who actually oversee the forum's moderation are mostly volunteer moderators from this community (although occasionally global Steam Community mods step in to help as well).

So if you are ever given a warning, it is because a volunteer moderator has seen your post and deemed it inappropriate. Most warnings are just given out due to disrespect (throwing insults, etc) but if there is another reason then the wording of the warning will reflect that.

I am locking this post for now, but if anyone has any more questions or concerns about this forum's moderation then feel free to add me or another mod and we'll be happy to help out.
