As the original comment said, I'm not here to play dress to impress, I'm here for some spooks and to get some interesting interactions with the ghost. The ghost isn't going to stop mid-hunt and say "nice shoes".

I feel like horror 2.0 would add so much more depth to the game. While we don't know what 2.0 actually means or would change, there are theories and suggestion that can add a lot to Phasmophobia that other games are doing better as of this moment.

Your response, if you do respond, is appreciated

We have a much bigger team now which allows us to work on multiple updates at once, which is what will happen with those updates. The character update will add to horror 2.0 as we are adding a new animation system for increased immersion which is why it needs to release first.

The lack of content kills the game, simple additions take months, even years to be implemented. The small dev team is no excuse as they have the money to expand but it seems they just don't want to... I really loved the game for the 1st month but after some hours in and little to no content it gets repetitive as hell

Hey! We've been growing a lot over the past 12 months and we are now at 25 people (not all devs). You can see the quality increase with Bleasdale but this year we will be able to get a lot more done and to a higher quality.

That’s awesome news to hear. Hopefully I won’t have trouble putting T3 smudge on my belt soon 😂. As far as OpenXR and Steam VR, do I still launch the game through steam. I know there’s three options to launch the game. One consisting of normal PC gameplay, another using SteamVR, and a final third one that didn’t specify how it launched other than the fact that it was VR. I haven’t used the third option yet.

As long as your OpenXR runtime is Oculus, you can use any VR launch option through Steam.

Hey, we're aware of the issues with VR and have a plan to work on them soon.

For the SteamVR issue, we support OpenXR which means you don't need to use SteamVR with a Quest headset. Open the Oculus app and go into settings then set your OpenXR runtime to Oculus. That way you can launch the game without SteamVR.

Great! But there's also the issue with eye adaptation on steam deck (i think it's an AMD gpu thing?) that makes brilliant white flashes in the sky every time you move in any direction when you are outside. Turning off the adaptation kind of fixes it but there are still these crazy white artifacts that dot the trees outside that also change color if you light a fire in the campsites. Makes searching for orbs really tough.

Hey, we have a potential fix for this with the Bleasdale rework update
