@t_reester The new shader we're using might fix this issue (because it scales uniformly based on a single scalar,) but I'll say up front that whether or not a reticle is off by a pixel isn't something that we're actively trying to address.
@t_reester Ah. This is what I was referring to by the image compression, but now that I see it, I'm wondering if it was due to how the old red dot shader worked, because it stretched or squashed a reticle on two axis separately. You can see by the (old) red dot texture that it's centered.
@t_reester I've heard this off-hand a few times over the years, but I don't think anyone has sent over evidence. We can look into it if there's a good example. It might be texture specific, or might be unfixable due to image compression. Iron sights, however, are unlikely to get fixed.
