And of course shortly after sending this out, we just received approval from Sony 😬 The #planetside2 PS4 EU Region servers will be coming down momentarily for the Escalation+ update.

ALERT: We're pushing back our EU PS4 publish until we work through a build submission issue with Sony. Hope to have it resolved very soon. We'll leave servers up for play until final build approval comes through.

To be clear, we are still expecting to publish the EU region update today. As soon as Sony approves the new build, we will immediately begin the publish process. #planetside2

UPDATE - The build submission process to Sony is taking longer than expected. As a result, we need to push back the publish start time. We are expecting an approval anytime now, but until we receive the approval, we didn't want to bring the servers down. We will update soon

REMINDER: EU PS4 servers will come down in less than 1 hour (8pm CEST). Downtime is expected to last 3 hours.

We’re tracking a few known issues after the NA region publish this morning, but nothing worth holding the full PS4 Escalation+ update from going out to the EU region tomorrow. Also decided to go earlier in the day than usual to allow players access earlier. #planetside2

ALERT: EU PS4 (Ceres) servers will come down for the Escalation mega update at 11am PDT (8pm CEST) tomorrow, Thursday July 30.

Estimating 3 hours of downtime for this massive patch.

Just posted an official PS4 game update feedback thread - please respond with any general feedback, critical bugs encountered, etc. We plan to hotfix any major issues ASAP. #planetside2

Server is back up and QA team just confirmed that the Sanctuary issues encountered earlier have been resolved. Build verification process has resumed...

Hit a minor snag with testing Sanctuary. Team had to make a few config changes, then restart the server. QA should be able to resume their build verification process momentarily. Getting close.

The PS4 publish is progressing well. DB changes required for the update have been completed and NA region servers are coming back online for our internal QA team to begin their verification process. Once they complete their checks, we will unlock. Will provide status in a bit

Expecting a 3 hour downtime, but we are trying to get them back up sooner. I'm getting ready to deploy the new PS4 package for download. It should start auto-patching in about 10 mins.
