I find the new units to be varying amounts of fun, but I do really miss having such an OP unit as the original Battleship.

Scout: The Scout feels almost identical to the previous Ship, but with lowered defense that I am not a fan of. It's great at collecting vision, but after you clear the fog, it feels like it doesn't serve any purpose, so I rarely build them after my first couple.

Rammer: I keep hearing that the Rammer is OP, but I can't quite agree. It seems to counter the other naval units very well, but its feels the least useful in attacking terrestrial targets because it can beach itself and revert back to the original unit. The exception is when the Rammer is sieging a city where it's beaching attack is quite good.

Bomber: I find the Bomber to be the best of the new naval units. It just deals so much damage and has so much range that it feels like the entire game is now just fighting desperately to deny your opponent the ability to park one or two of these off your coast. Very fun when it's in your favor, but infuriating to fight against since you can't even unleash your own naval units to counter it without being blasted away.

Juggernaut: Just underwhelming. The Juggernaut feels too slow and weak to really be worth much. Maybe it is just really map dependent, but on any map where there is an ocean, it just feels like it is mobbed by other naval units and crippled before it can do anything. Not a big fan of it.

The scout seems rather weak overall, especially since it costs exactly the same as the rammer.

The rammer landing itself when killing a land unit is either a design flaw or a deliberate choice to reduce the viability of defender spam. I'd still prefer that it only land itself when killing a unit on a city of village.

The bomber is just the battleship 2.0. Defender bomber spam will be the norm.

Juggernauts seem fine aside from not being able to retaliate, which is dumb.

The reason Juggernauts can't retaliate is because we didn't want it to boil down to "who has more Giants." We wanted to ensure that they could be countered or be weak without the proper support.
