[2023] Custom maps?

Is Midjiwan planning to add the ability to create your own maps as well as share and play the custom maps of others? I feel like it would bring a lot to the game and it would be fun recreating historical battles in polytopia, since it's kinda boring playing on randomly generated maps for 3 years now.
