I've heard of efforts to train an ai/engine to play Polytopia, like with stockfish and chess. Did that get any further along? I'd be interested to see if an engine would agree about bardur.

Nope, was never meant to become anything.

We handed it off to the developers of DeepMind as nothing more than a curiosity for researchers, not to create a new AI or anything.

Luxidoor was "top dog" for the longest time until we nerfed them.

The nerfed version is not worth the extra cost

The extra cost is a joke, first and foremost.

They could have been made to be the weakest tribe in the game on purpose....and they'd still have the highest price.

Zoythrus, I once read your comment that the Team was looking to somehow buff mind benders.
I think a great change would be for Healing to be for only one unit but with a range of two. Has the team had similar solutions in that regards? Thank you.

We've had a lot of ideas on how to buff them. The bigger question is what we want the Med/Phil branch to become.
