Android player here so I haven't played the new beta, but overall it seems like a great update (although I'll miss the whales, and as a Yaddak enjoyer those 3-star roads sting...). But one thing that I think could be improved is the new ship names. I think the raft name and design are perfect, and the rammer is fine, but the others are a little lacking. The names scout, bomber, and juggernaut just don't sound like a navy to me, and there are plenty of cool types of ships that fit the roles of these units.

The scout could be changed to the Frigate. From Wikipedia: "The name frigate in the 17th to early 18th centuries was given to any full-rigged ship built for speed and maneuverability, intended to be used in scouting, escort and patrol roles." This matches the role of the scout perfectly, and sounds way cooler in my opinion!

Bomber sounds like an airplane, not a ship. This could just be changed to "Gunship" and it would fit better, or it could become the Galleon ("a large unwieldy ship, usually having three or four decks and carrying guns")

The juggernaut could become the Man O' War - a heavy ship that's slow, but hits hard and can take a lot of damage. I also think the current design of the juggernaut looks a little silly, but I'm no artist so I'll leave that to someone else.

I think I've seen a few other posts in the past suggesting similar ideas as well, so hopefully I'm not alone in thinking that the awesome new ships deserve better names!

Those sound like 17th Century ship names.

Seems far too modern for Polytopia's Medieval-ish theme.
