Hey there @swampy469 , thanks for coming back to us. Just for a bit of background, the BE process is Battleye, which runs alongside the game. Either way, though, we wouldn't expect you to need to reconnect after alt-tabbing out so it's great that you've reported this to us.
For sending us a video, we'd recommend uploading it to the video sharing service of your choice, and sending us a link - you're spot on
Since this isn't an issue that has otherwise been reported, as far as I can see, I'd also like to invite you to check our troubleshooting guide. In particular from that guide, please make sure you've updated your graphics drivers and operating system, you've verified the game files, and you don't have any unnecessary background programs interfering with the game. Please let me know if these steps improve the issue at all!
