Hello, I am submitting this ticket to report a technical bug and hopefully to get a solution.



Symptom:

The game can only be launched(through uplay) using the integrated graphical card and the in-game performance will drop to 10 fps to 20 fps which is basically unplayable.



Options I've already tried:

  1. I've updated the intel gpu driver from 27.20.100.9664 to the latest 30.0.101.1191, (and restarted the pc); the result was even worse:
  2. I've set the graphic performance preference to High performance for each of of the launcher, (and restarted the pc); it did not work:
  3. I've created specific setting for Extraction in the nvidia control panel, there is no Preferred Graphics Processor option anyway, (and restarted the pc); it did not work:
  4. I've tried the Clean Install option through the Geforce Experience when updating nvidia gpu driver, (and restarted the pc); it did not work:

Hey @tapczan_ , thanks for confirming that for us. I'm sorry to hear you've had low performance. It sounds like the game is still trying to run on your integrated GPU, rather than your dedicated GPU - I'd really like to help you solve that.

You mentioned turning off the integrated GPU - how did you go about that?

We had a small patch on January 28th that addressed some issues connected with this - can you let me know if the problem is now solved?

If not, please see this post from Ubi-Keo in our thread tracking the integrated/dedicated GPU issue - it contains a few suggested fixes. Can you try those for me, and let me know if they solve the issue?

If the issue persists, please let me know, as I'd like to add your experiences to our investigation in that case.
