I tried to queue up matchmaking for ranked, and I was getting an unusually long matchmaking time (~10 minutes), so I cancelled matchmaking. But when I did, the game gave me the message saying I can reconnect to an ongoing ranked match that I left, or else I would recieve abandon sanctions. Then every time I tried to matchmake, it wouldn't put me into a game no matter how long I waited, and whenever I canceled matchmaking, it gave me the option to reconnect to an abandoned match. I tried restarting the game and it gave me the same reconnect to match message upon opening the game again. I'm ready to just give up on playing ranked but I'm afraid that I'm going to get the half hour ranked/unranked ban and lose MMR for "abandoning" a match I was never in in the first place.
Edit: I closed the game, restarted my computer, and came back to it a couple hours later. I'm no longer getting the message, there are no abandons in my stats, and I don't appear to have gone down in rank, so at least there's that. Still strange and inconvenient that this issue locked me out of playing ranked for a while.
