[2021] Microphone icon wont show

When i press the "~" button (i changed my voiP button from "U" to "~"), the microphone icon on top right doesn't show and no one can hear me too. But when i play with my friends using discord, the microphone icon shows up and microphone works. Can someone please help!!

We had an issue where voice chat would work intermittently, however that should now be resolved.
