The majority of crashes can be fixed using the steps we recommend in our troubleshooting guide. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your graphics drivers and Windows install fully updated, and you don't have any background programs which could interfere with the game.
If the crashes happen again, let me know - we've got ways of using some system files to help diagnose the issue and give more specific guidance, but it's a little more complicated, so I can explain how that works if the above steps don't solve the issue
