I just purchased siege from uplay and found out that my wife just purchased and downloaded it yesterday on steam. Is there a way I can launch siege from uplay or steam without having to download it again? Right now It doesn't let me launch the game from uplay, because its not installed, or steam because I haven't purchased it.

Are you trying to use two different uplay accounts? One through steam and one through uplay? Or is this both on the same PC? Can you clarify the situation a bit and what it is you're trying to do? If it's already downloaded on steam, then can you launch it from steam using your wife's linked Uplay account? Then if the problem is that you can't launch it through steam with your Uplay it's because it's not registered to the same account and therefore not recognizing it. So if you want to launch separately through Uplay to take into account the two separate Uplay ID's, then you may have to install twice - but if you talk to support they might be able to give you a better solution.

So you're trying to use the previously installed steam files as the source folder for your Uplay basically? I'm not sure you can easily work around that, but you can try and ask support to see if it's possible.

Sorry for bad english
Hey there Bokiony,

As part of activating the game on your respective Uplay account, you should be able to launch it via Uplay instead of Steam at any point.

TehBeastToot could you please contact us through our Support Site or Facebook and Twitter so we can take a closer look.

Thank you
