So I got unlucky and got shot twice whilst prepping a grenade which then happed to blow at the feet of one of my squadmates, killing him both times (and he was sadly too surprised and busy laughing at my misfortune to actually press the button and forgive me when it happened the first time ...).
Sucks to be penalized for that with a match removal and 30 minute time-out but whatever, Ubi isn't changing that anytime soon and I can watch something, listen to music until the timer runs out.
Problem is when I logged back in shortly before the 30 minutes were about to pass so I can reconnect with my friends for the rest of the session, I find out that I have ALSO gotten a sanktion (another 30 minutes) for abandoning the match (I didn't, the system force removed me ...) and I'm pretty sure that's not how things are supposed to happen. Or if for some inane reason this is working as intended, I'd suggest this be reconsided.
If these sorts of things are tallied on your account to escalate repeat offender penalties, I'd also like someone looking into this and remove the unwarranted abandon mark so at least I won't get extra penalized in any future misshap due to an unwarranted clerical error.
