I bought Rainbow Six Siege on steam on May 21 2021, and i started for the first time on DirectX mode, and it crashed on loading screen. i reinstalled DirectX but it didn't work. I also verified the integrity of files through steam and it said that all files are ok, but it is still crashing. Then ran the game on Vulkan API, i got to the main menu, but when i clicked on any button, the game crashed. Vulkan API works on my laptop but the game crashes randomly at any point of time. I have been playing on Vulkan API but i m really frustrated with teh game crashing randomly, please give a fix ASAP.

My laptop specs :-

Name - Lenovo Legion Y540
CPU - i7 - 9750H
RAM - 16 GB DDR4
GPU - RTX 2060 6GB

Hey there.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with crashes/freezes at the moment.

The first thing I would suggest is to attempt each step suggested here. These steps are known to resolve most of the common causes of crashing/freezing.

If after doing so you're still experiencing issues I'd then recommend opening a support case. You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

MSInfo
DxDiag

Thanks.
