hello, I just bought rainbow six siege, and it asks for a cd key that I don't have and all the youtube videos I watch say that you already need the game downloaded but I dio not have that option till I get a key, any help?
Hi DipToHard! When purchasing a game from a client, you typically receive direct entitlement. This means you can activate the game directly from the client without needing an activation key. If you're being asked for one, then you may be logged into an account separate from the one you used to purchased the game. With that being said, please navigate to the following directory on your PC:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership
Then, grab a screenshot of that folder's contents and upload it in a case at support.ubi.com. Our technical team would be glad to investigate this further with you and help find a solution. Thank you!
