[2020] CPU Clock Speed Drop

In regards to high CPU, if you use any VoIP applications like Discord or Team Speak, these are know to contribute to CPU usage, as well as any overclocking software and game overlays.

Try shutting these down through Task Manager and any other background applications you don't need running. Here's some more information on conflicting software with our games, this list is not extensive but please scroll down to the bottom of the list to check if you may be running any of this software whilst playing our games -

You can also try setting CPU affinity to 4 cores and changing CPU priority to real time, this reportedly helped some players with similar high CPU use.
