I've been playing RS^ for a few years now without issue, however the last couple of days it keeps crashing and i have no idea why.

To my knowledge all hardware and software are the same. All other aspects of my PC and home network are working absolutely fine.

Login and startup of game are fine and then perhaps 1 game in the system crashes.

I've followed all the online self help steps listed by Ubisoft but none are either applicable or have resolved the issue. I had generated the required MSinfo32 and dxdiag files requested by the Case Support only to get to the end to be told there is no support!

Any help from the community much appreciated.

Hello! I'm sorry to read you're experiencing crashing issues in-game.

Some of the steps I am going to offer are likely what you have already seen, but I'd like to make sure.

If the issue persists, the following information would help -

- Your PC components
- The names of any anti-cheat, overlay or screen recording software you have installed
- The error message(s) you are seeing
- System files

I understand you were previously unable to send us your system files. Were you able to create a support case, or did that not work?

Also, happy to share files, however Ubisoft Case system wasn't working last night?. I will try again this morning.

Are you seeing a systemic increase in crash reports or do you think this is a specific issue?
Hey, thanks for getting back to me.

Crash reports will go directly to our dev team, however they won't be included in a support ticket for Ubisoft Support to see.

I can see that you managed to create a support case and your system files were added, nicely done! I have had a look through them and I am unable to see any clear reasons for your crashes, however our technical team will be able to offer more in-depth suggestions for you.

This appears to be a specific issue, I've not noticed an increase in crash reports first hand or when looking at reporting. Not to worry though, we'll get this fixed!

How often would you say the crashes occur, if you were to try and play for a couple hours?

Please also make sure to try the following -

- Make sure Ubisoft Connect's overlay is enabled
- Disable background applications: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000025721/
- Ensure both Ubisoft Connect & R6S are trusted by your anti virus
