I've been playing Rainbow Six Siege since the open beta, and even got as far as Diamond during Red Crow on PS4. Siege has been my favorite shooter ever. But a simple problem has almost killed Console Siege for me. When I play Fortnite, Apex Legends, Titanfall, or even The Last of Us, I'm given options to tweak how the camera behaves. I'm able to control the camera acceleration, I'm able to tweak the response curves, and I'm able to tweak the deadzones. When I play Siege, I'm only presented with one of those options, which I find astonishing. Games like The Last of Us and Fortnite are not centered around gun play. The Last of us is a single player experience, made with a cinematic camera in mind. Fortnite is a game centered around building, and has aim assist, which aids the lack of precision that a controller offers. It boggles me that the most precise shooter on console has little to no options for controlling my response curves, camera acceleration, or ramp up time. When I play Fortnite or Apex Legends, I feel in total control of my camera. I rely on my muscle memory to guide my cross hair to my opponents. But with Siege's archaic aim customization, I feel like I'm not only battling my opponents, but battling my own controller to face the direction I want.

Are there any plans to add options to customize ramp up time, camera acceleration, and deadzones (I know the deadzones are customizable, but I would like to lower them below 5. I can aim better with a little bit of stick drift than with a huge deadzone that messes with my fine motor skills)? I've used Siege as a tool to bond with my family, playing with my dad and siblings almost every day. But now that I've played games that allow me to control how my camera behaves, Siege feels sluggish and unsatisfying to me. I don't have fun when I feel like I lost to the camera instead of my opponent.

Hi there,

Thank you for explaining in such detail your feedback on how the camera controls feel and work.

I have no information on any plans for this to change, however if you have any suggestions on exactly what we could do we will be able to forward this on
