I'm having anger issues today.

Thanks

Hey folks! Been keeping an eye out for threads where players are voicing their displeasure with the new casual changes, so I'll add this thread to my notes to the devs so they're aware.

Hey guys! Are you able to provide a bit of information about why you specifically dislike the AA-DD rotation? Why do you prefer the alternating rotation instead? Are there specific strats with the old rotation that don't work with the new one? Is the AA-DD change the only thing you dislike about the recent Quick Match rotations? I know some players don't like the name change for some reason as well.
When I played some Quick Match the other day, it was a bit jarring to remember and felt a little funky, but it felt more natural for the progression of the match as a whole.

Since matches are shorter, it's better to alternate, because if you against a team thats really good attacking adn they do so two rounds in a row, you are already backed in the corner when you get your chance to flip sides, same way if someone is going to defend in a map they don't like, they will leave instead of getting a chance next round.
It's just bad and gives either A or D the chance to steamroll for 2 rounds in a row at least with an AD AD rotation if gives enough time to throw off a strong teams strats because what is happening now is rinse wash repeat if that makes sense.
The old format kept things a bit more fresh; since casual "teams" are generally better either attacking or defending, alternating every round allowed for more balanced rounds and fewer instance of one side getting up 2-0.
Thanks for sharing! This does make sense, and I can understand it would be pretty crushing to team morale when getting steamrolled hard. I'll pass this sentiment along with my report to the team. Would you say this would be the worst part out of all the changes to Quick Match?

Let me ask you the other way, why would this change be beneficial to the game in the first place? why it felt needed to be added without using test server?
I will be reaching out as well to get a better understanding of the change. I believe it was to make it more uniform across all playlist, but do understand that this change makes Quick Match add a bit more pressure. As for why it was not in TTS, I would have thought it would have been added as well. I'll make sure to let the team know of this in the event of future changes like this.

I would say definitely revert back to the old way of switching after each round, but maybe also make it so that a team never defends the same spot twice. Because even with the old format it sucked if the opposing team got to defend one of the better objective sites while your team got stuck with third floor of favelas twice.
I do like this suggestion! I think it would give a more fresh feel and provide a better opportunity for either team. I'll pass it along!

I guess I just want secure area back in ranked. I'm tired of solo queuing bomb knowing that it takes team work to complete. Where Secure you can win on your own once you get onsite.
Put all game modes in unranked
The point of Unranked is supposed to be "practice Ranked". Putting all game modes in Unranked wouldn't make sense unless we put them all in Ranked as well. The problem with that is Secure and Hostage don't really feel like they could be a competitive standard. I feel like either of those modes have a higher ability to be cheesed more than Bomb. Do you guys feel that they are in a state that would be good for Competitive and Pro-League?

I do recognize that the map rotation system is also a topic that most players do not agree with. I've made note of this in my report as well! It did feel a little weird to have the maps change again so quickly, but the idea is to change the rotation at the start of the new season, and then again during mid-season to provide time for both pools to be played.
