Honestly, I've seen evil eyes applied in different, and sometimes creative ways! For instance, my brother, with whom I play regularly likes to put one evil eye on point, and one a floor above next to a hatch that someone might potentially drop down, but when I play, I like to put them both pretty much directly on point in order to get some damage in on pushing attackers so I can pop up and finish them off.
I've also seen other players put them in main thoroughfares to do damage to defenders before they get to point and provide intelligence about whichever direction they're coming from.
Realistically, I'd say play around with it and see what the most successful thing to do is .

I'm sure, however, that some members of the community will have some great advice
