Hello everyone! I would just like to discuss a false ban that happened to me yesterday. I had just gotten home from work and let my girlfriend get on siege to play a T-Hunt. I heard her yell that i was banned and so i come into my room to find out i was banned for MULTIPLE CHEATING OFFENCES....

Now i thought about this from a logical stand point.. Maybe it was a false ban due to a false positive from something on my PC.. So I went ahead and did a virus scan with malwarebytes and nothing was detected. i thought thought, "maybe it's from another software on my pc", but I only have Adobe software for graphic designing and stream labs other than my games... NOPE, that can't be it.

Then I realized that it said "BANNED FOR MULTIPLE CHEATING OFFENSES. Now think from my perspective. I have a brand new PC that never had a previous owner, never had anything installed on it before. I built this PC myself from brand new parts. Now I specify BRAND NEW because after some research i found out that players can receive a HWID (Hardware ID) ban; which clearly can't be the case because its BRAND NEW..

I had a friend say that it could be linked to my IP (Which it cant because i dont cheat and never had a ban before) and even if it could, I live in a new house and just had a whole new network of hardware as well as a dynamic setup due to DDOS attacks from palying games and streaming in the past.

Yes I stream. I have plenty of clips and videos on twitch from BS headshots not registering and what not.

Now my question for the community is, Why in the world was i banned and from what sort of detection or reasoning was behind it?

NOTE: For the staff that read and reply to this topic, I understand that you cannot discuss or intervene with ban appeals in forums. I have already opened a ticket the moment I was banned.
