Hi everyone so I've come across a problem with my Rainbow Six Siege. A week ago (So about 30th of June as of time of posting this) my R6 game has been launching perfectly until recently where my R6 gets stuck loading infinitely upon pressing play. The little R6 window pops up saying nothing and just loading, I've given it about 3 hours to load and nothing happens, I've deleted and reinstalled a few times and it doesn't fix the problem. I'm not the only person who has encountered this since my friend is also having the same problem, loading infinitely. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, Wild_Animal7!

Welcome to the forums. I have seen similar reports from other users on the forums and they have advised the game was being blocked by Bitdefender. Here's how to fix it:

-Launch Bitdefender
-Click Settings
-Click exclusions
-Click add exclusions
-Add rainbowsix.exe

If you have Bitdefender please try the above steps. If you do not have Bitdefender or the issue persists please try the following:

Run the game with ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS.

Verify your game files.
It is possible that the installation of your game is faulty. To fix this, please verify your game files:

UPLAY
EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER
STEAM

Disable Background Applications.

Make sure your OPERATING SYSTEM is UP TO DATE.

Reinstall Uplay.

Update your GPU Drivers:

AMD
NVIDIA

Should the issues persist after completing the above steps, please GET IN TOUCH, attaching DXDIAG and MSINFO reports to your SUPPORT CASE.

Thank you.
