My team lost the first two rounds of a CASUAL match and while I was reinforcing a wall, I suddenly lose health out of nowhere, I see that I am losing points for injuring teammates despite me just reinforcing a wall? we all go into the dying state and then I am removed from the match for team killing, and now I have a 30 minute ban despite me doing nothing to deserve it? Guess it ain't too bad since it was a casual match, but seriously, who cheats in a casual match?? They were going to win anyway, and now I have to wait half an hour to play again which just sucks :/

This most likely sounds like it was because of a Goyo shield. This is an interaction that is being investigated by the development team at this time.

It is a slightly more complicated interaction that the team has been working on. I don't have any new information on the investigation other than it is something the team is aware of at the moment. I've been keeping track of threads reporting this issue and collecting them for my report.

What it sounds like is the wireframe/model of the reinforcement is clipping the hitbox of the Goyo shield causing it to detonate so why not decrease the hitbox or something but I don't program or design in this engine so I honestly don't know.




I still don't see why disablement of Goyo is an unacceptable compromise until it's fixed.
It seems as if the Goyo issue isn't affecting a larger portion of the community like the Clash glitch/exploit was and is, for right now, easier to avoid than previous bugs. Like UbiMorning mentioned, we'll continue to keep the devs up to speed on how the Goyo issue is affecting players.
