I have been temporarily ban for disconnecting out of a ranked match. Can I please have something done about this.

Hey @skull247544, thanks for reaching out, welcome to forums and sorry to hear about this.

So in order to make sure that we're on the same page, I understand that the game has been already concluded and after the rewards screen, you have received in-game disconnection after which you've received a suspension, is that right? If it is indeed, this is quite an interesting scenario, as sometimes any past games (rather than the one you're in at the time) that you've possibly abandoned, can result in suspension being received right after, therefore could this be something you've had at all?

As far as the disconnection itself goes, can I also check the following:

  1. Do you recall the error message you received?
  2. Is that something you experience often/regularly or was that a first instance?


In regards to troubleshooting, if you haven't already, you can give the following steps a go and see if disconnection reoccurs.

Finally, I do understand the circumstances however as the suspension is temporarily and issued by the server-side, our Support team would be unable to adjust it and you'll have to wait until the end of the duration, however instead, we'd be keen to tackle the initial issue, that has led to you receiving the suspension in the first place.

Thanks for getting through to us and sorry to hear about what happened, as I do appreciate how frustrating it can be when it occurs mid-game.

I've had a closer look at our server-status around the time of your contact, however it appears that everything has been working as intended and there have been not outages or so.

As far as suspension itself goes, it is something that is issued by the server-side, therefore I am afraid our Support team would be unable to adjust this for you.

So that we could look into the matter further, may I kindly check the following:

  1. Do you recall the error message you received when disconnection occurred?
  2. Is that something you experience regularly or is that a first instance?
  3. Did you attempt to reconnect? If so, what happened?


In regards to troubleshooting, if you haven't already, try the following steps and see if issue persists/reoccurs:

  1. Xbox Series X/S
  2. PC
