Trying to purchase a $50 bundle on R6 / steam and it says something went wrong, please try again in a few seconds. I used a different credit card, same issue. We buy things through steam often with no issue so this seems to be a R6 problem.
Any ideas?

Thank you for sharing the error that you are receiving. Can we confirm do you have the Steam overlay enabled?

Open the Steam client and navigate to the Steam > Settings/Preferences > In-game tab. Check the box next to Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.

If so and the issue continues, can you please contact Steam Support to ensure that there are no issues on your account that may stop you from making purchases.
