[2020] Can I unlink my steam account if I bought Siege through steam?

I bought siege through steam and logged into uplay to link the accounts so i can play siege. However, today my steam account was hacked and I cannot run siege anymore. I was wondering since I already linked siege from steam to uplay can i unlink and still be able to play siege without needing steam?

Hello SunnyBoi._.,

In answer to your question we would be unable to link your first party accounts. The Steam game is tied to your Ubisoft account, if you received a ban from the game, your Unisoft ID is banned from playing that game too. The game data stays on your account.
