[2020] Can't connect to ubisoft servers

when i booted up my game today i was greeted with 4 trillion ping, yesterday it was working fine i was playing until 2 in the morning, and booted the game up today at about 12 in the afternoon, i haven't changed any settings at all, i don't overclock my laptop, i have tried to port forward but that wasn't effective, HELP

We did experience an unexpected period of server degradation before the maintenance for patch 3.1 was completed. If you are still running into issues now or in future please let me know.
