Boy oh boy did explosives take a nerf this patch.

Firstly, the timer on the grenade was made to be substantially slower, to the point that getting a floor frag is quite difficult (but still possible).

It appears the damage has been modified through the floor as well, now I get a LOT of assists off a nade and not a down or a kill.

Same thing with a c4. I'll c4 very close to a guy below and only do about 60-80 damage on what would before have been a guaranteed kill. So many times I'll throw c4s and the ceiling doesn't even break. ESPECIALLY if I throw one onto the roof by printer in Kanal. Never damages the ceiling, or hurts whoever is there.


I'd like to think of myself as one of the best nade/c4 players in NA, and this was just a nerf to my life blood.

Stuff like this has just been made nearly impossible, which is unfortunate, it's one of the things that make Siege so fun.

This just seems to be the effects of the shrapnel changes. Here is the blog post also!

Right now we're just gathering community feedback on the Shrapnel system and bringing to the devs so they can look it over. Videos of these types of interactions would be super beneficial for our notes as well, so if you happen to come across any or make some yourself, feel free to drop them in the thread as well.
