[2022] Run into this error only when playing ranked/unranked with friend

Playing on PC, using ethernet cable. Only occurs when playing with a friend, who is also a pc player, when trying to complete matches that are in ranked/unranked. In quick match this never occurs when queued with a friend or solo. If I run ranked/unranked solo, error does not occur. Now I'm on a 48 hour suspension and counting. I don't think this is a connectivity issue on either myself or my friends side as this is the only game we play together that has this kind of issue. Any other game we play together is virtually seamless. Things I've done, see below,

>Reinstalled Game
>Verified integrity of files
>removed an overlay I had for tracking stats
>Attempt to rejoin session but cannot connect
>Close out of R6 and restart PC; still cannot connect to ongoing match

End result is me getting suspended and the punishment is becoming ridiculous when we are just casual players trying to step into ranked/unranked matches for some more fun.
