Hello everyone!

I have noticed an increase of reports regarding being unable to move, due to your key bindings expecting the use of a controller.

An investigation is ongoing. In the meantime, the following steps should help -

1. Connect then disconnect a controller (if you have one available)

- Quit the game
- Plug in a controller
- Launch the game
- Navigate through the in-game menus
- Unplug / disconnect the controller
- Play a match and your M+KB should now work

This has helped some players however we don't yet have confirmation whether this fixes the issue, or if you will need to do this every time you play.

My second suggestion is to create a new save / profile. This will reset your in-game settings which should resolve your issue, however please note it will also reset your Situations progress & loadouts.

2. Reset profile

- Quit R6S and Uplay
- Created a backup of your save folder

Ubisoft Connect / Epic Games Launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\635
Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\1843

- Launch Ubisoft Connect as administrator, then disable cloud synchronisation
- Launch R6S (notice settings, loadouts & Situations have been reset)
- Adjust an operator loadout
- Exit the game, then re-enable cloud synchronisation
- Launch the game once again
- You should now be prompted which save file the game should use. Select Local save

I hope that resolves you the issue for you all, and I'd appreciate it if you could share your experience in this thread so we can help one another.

All the best!

Hello spj., thanks for posting,

When you say that your player profile was not restored, you need to use the local player profile save on your computer not the online cloud one, deleting a save that is on the cloud will not be restorable which is why you lost your player profile after following the workaround.

You can change the settings in both Steam and Ubisoft Connect to disable cloud saving on games, as sometimes it can be checked by default in the launchers settings.

As for the main issue itself we are still investigating a fix, but can I just check are you using the Steam version of the game as I may be able to provide another workaround for Steam users.

Hey!

That is very good to know, thank you very much.

From what I can tell, that software related to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Thanks again

Hello methth, thanks for posting and sorry for the delay getting back to you.

I have a few questions for you if you wouldn't mind -

Could you let us know what game mode you are playing, Vulkan or DIrectX and are you playing via Ubisoft Connect or Steam?

Can you also tell us, do you have a controller you can physically plug into your PC and remove which can temporarily resolve this issue?

Do you have any USB devices connected in your device management screen, under HID, that the game could recognise as a controller or peripheral?

Do you have any games, or conflicting software running in the background on this list you can to disable through Task Manager? - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761
