I would like to offer a suggestion whenever we do not get the chance to select an operator, as we do get into games during the operator selection phase, and then we have no time to select an operator. The game will choose a random operator. Instead of this, and I am not sure if this was already suggested, what if we try this:

- If unable to select an operator or you did not have one selected for you already, the game automatically selects your highest picked operator based on the account you played. For example, I have played a total of 5 days and 11 hours with Hibana, as an attacker, and if I have no operator selected when the clock hits 0, or if I just came in before the preparation phase of 45 seconds started, the game will automatically select my operator as the one with the most playtime I have had, provided that the operator has not yet been selected. Otherwise, it would select the next operator with the most playtime.

If in the situation above, Hibana was taken, then my next operator with the most playtime would be IQ. If IQ was not selected, then the game automatically selects her for me, and so on.

I am not sure if this was already recommended, but I just figured out to give it a go, since I have been getting a lot of games recently in Casual when I cannot select an operator due to me coming in during that phase of the match.

The main issue I can see with a system like this is it encourages AFK behavior, which we do not want. What happens in the event your top 3 operator picks have been picked by other players? The idea of having it pick your most played operator out of what is available helps prevent a situation like that. However, I think a system like this should be available for Quick Match. In other modes, you should be thinking about team composition and play operators that synergize well with each other.
