Honestly this game should make it so that if your do not have a mic plugged into your device you are unable to play ranked. Now i am ok if unranked or casual someone doesn't have a mic. But ranked should have this requirement as its really annoying to play with people and they have to type out everything or there reason is they don't have one or whatever dumb reason.
And yes i have played games in the past that did not let you play certain game modes if the game did not detect a mic and you could not play it. I'm sure many here have lost games due to someone not having a mic and its very obvious when someone is just not talking vs not having a mic. and again its fine if casual and unranked don't have this. But ranked needs this feature added to the game so those that don't think communication is key or just don't want to bother with it. Well guess what you loose out on being able to just play another game mode until you either get one or actually plug on it to your system.
