This has probably been asked many times before, but I can't find a solution so I'm asking again. I am unable to get Rainbow Six to launch to the main screen. Everything goes fine until I get to the blue loading screen with all the warnings and credits and such. Up until today, I would get there and eventually my computer would crash after loading for a while. Now it just loads on that screen forever until I give up. I have tried every troubleshooting option on the support site except for uninstalling the game and reinstalling, but I am saving that as a last resort. Has anyone had this problem and if so, any solutions? I'm also on PC if that helps.

If the game refuses to launch the game after pressing 'play', please check through the following steps that have been known to resolve this for other players >>

-Make sure you have downloaded, installed and are currently using the new Ubisoft Connect game launcher (formerly Uplay) from our website > https://ubi.li/4vxt9

-Run the game and launcher as an 'Administrator' in its Properties option as shown in this guide and launch the game from its .exe file instead of the launcher, to see if the game can be launched an alternative way > https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/article/000060505

-Try verifying the game's files in your game launcher, in case a corrupted file or missing game file is causing this issue and needs repairing >

-Please try deleting the game launchers cache folders, to delete any temporary files that may be causing this issue, by following both guides for each launcher you are currently using >

-Check any Anti-Virus software you may use on your computer, in case the game is blocked from launching or connecting online, and make sure the game and any supporting software it uses (BattlEye, FairFight, Easy AntiCheat etc) for the game is not quarantined or blocked

-Check your Windows Defender Firewall settings by opening your Windows Settings > Search for 'Windows Defender Firewall' > Select 'Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall' > 'Allow another app' > Add the game, the launcher, and any of its supported software it may use (BattlEye, FairFight, Easy AntiCheat etc), so Window grants permission to them to connect online
