Learning the maps are crucial for enjoying the game, and the fact is: it's too much work.

Even dedicated streamers that play all day long find it hard to get into Siege.

I think the game is amazing. I think it could reach even higher heights if you overcame this hurdle, somehow. I'm not going to tell you how - probably there are many solutions. But your biggest problem is the learning of maps. Make it easier, more controllable some way.

Thanks ser_twenty! As the others have brought up, have they tried Newcomer at all? It has a much smaller map pool set with the intent of helping players get a feel for how Siege works. Alternatively, there are plenty of video resources with tips for certain maps and you can view the layout of the maps online as well. Running around the map in a Custom game or Terrorist Hunt can also be helpful. I tend to do so each time a new map or map rework is released. Here are a few helpful tools they may be interested in.
