I've been having some very strange issues when going into the Diplay Option menu, strating with mini freezes to full freeze while having that TAB open. I can go to other tabs with no problems, change settings, etc but when I go to the Display tab, the game goes from mini freezes to total freeze in less than 2-3 seconds at which point IF i press escape it takes around 10 sec to get back the game. This issue only happens there, i tried all the other menus, tried a variety of options and settings, but still the same. because of that I have big issues trying to change any setting from that menu.
I manages to get into benchmark few times, the FPS is a solid 100+ everytime with custom settings of medium high, but when I get back there, instant freeze.
I have an i5 6600k OC to 4.0Ghz, GTX 1070 MSI armor Core, 16 GB DDR4 2933 MHZ, 120 GB SSD on which I have WIN 10 pro + 500GB HDD 7200RPM on which the game resides.
I've been trying to look around on froums, reddit, Steam but no one has encountered this issues and I can't get rid of it. Also the game has some micro-freezes when I go in and out of the operator selection menu while in -match ( it may be related, but I don't know that). I had no crashes till now even if I left the game open for 2 h on that Display TAB.
Is there anyway to work around that issue? Basic troubleshooting didn't work, like game reinstall, uplay reinstall, moving to SSD , driver update + clean reinstall, etc
