I was just playing an unranked game and suddenly I got an connectivity issue which pulled me back to the home screen. I then quickly tried to reconnect but the game has ended right away and I got a 60 minutes abandon sanction.

Sorry to hear about this.
Unfortunately temporary abandon sanctions are implemented server side so these aren't something we can adjust. However if you are experiencing regular connectivity issues please let us know and we'll do our best to try and help to mitigate or resolve these issues as much as we possibly can.
