[2020] [PC][STEAM] Ruby Skin Redemption Error + Compensation | Updated 4/11/2016

UPDATE 04/11: We have deployed a fix to resolve the issue with the Ruby Skin on PC. The below compensation plan is now rolling out to players.

Update: We will be deploying a patch next week that will grant users access to the Ruby Weapon Skin that they previously purchased. The Ruby Weapon Skin may not be available in the store immediately following deployment of this patch.

Hey everyone,

We are aware that Steam users are currently unable to retrieve the Ruby Weapon skin. There is an issue with the current game build that is preventing the redemption, and we are looking into different ways to fix this.

We will not be able to correct this issue in the next couple of days, and as such, have removed the item from the store. We will have more information regarding a potential fix around the middle of next week.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working hard on delivering your weapon skin. As a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we will be providing all users who have suffered from this issue with 600 R6 Credits ($5.00 USD) and the Ruby Weapon Skin once the fix has gone live.

This will apply to all PC users who purchased the Ruby Weapon Skin initially.. Uplay and Steam.

We will be providing the compensation when the fix for the Ruby Weapon Skin goes live. We do not currently have an exact date when this will go live, as it is proving to be a more difficult issue to tackle than initially expected. We do appreciate your patience while we work on this. Thank you!

From what i can tell ALL PC players will receive the skin and R6 credits

This compensation package will only be applied to players who have purchased the Ruby Weapon Skin prior to us removing it from the store.

I had the ruby weapon skin on xbox in the past but for some reason it disappeared from my inventory when I came back to the game. I don't like truly care I just want that skin back cause it was cool.
