Whenever I am in the main menu, my GPU starts heating up really fast all the way to 83 degree celcius.
This ends up with my GPU fans accelerating to high speeds. Is there a fix?

Hey there Spurgelius,

Could you please post your system specs?

Do you also tend to have other programs running in the background? I would advise giving a Clean Boot a try before launching the game.

Thank you for posting your specs rcsverige89

What mode are you currently using for Siege, Vulkan or DirectX?
They seem to be good enough specs to be able to run the game.

Do you have any software running in the background too that may be using up your CPU power such as Ubi-TheBerry suggested? CPU power usage can often be down to software not only hardware.

This list is not extensive but please scroll down to the bottom of the list to check if you may be running any of this software in the background that may cause conflicts -

You can do this by performing a clean boot, here -

- Press the Windows key and S buttons on the keypad and search for Task Manager,
- Launch the app then navigate to the 'Start up' programs tab
- Disable everything that might be conflicting with the game such as conflicting software
- Restart the computer then try launching the game from Uplay/Epic/Steam

We recommend disabling these when you can to let the game utilise the full performance of your CPU instead.

Another thing you can try is to set the CPU affinity to 4 cores and changing CPU priority to real time, this reportedly helped some players with similar high CPU use.
