Hey guys. PLEASE hear me out. Siege is one of my favorite games of all time and I used to play it for very large amounts of time every day. Now, I'm in South Africa, and we recently got dedicated SA servers, and with that, Siege here died. I cannot find a single match. Sometimes I get to play like 2 quick matches on a Saturday, but in the week nothing, and Ranked is completely out of the picture.Did you guys know that the timer when waiting for a match only goes to 99:59 then it starts at 00:00 again? I know that...and I've also confirmed it a couple times. Anyway so I email Ubisoft and ask them if there is any way to switch data centers on console and if not, can they ask the community what they think about implementing it, and the email I got back basically said that there is no way to switch data centers on console, and though they realize I'm trying to come up with solutions, their ideas come from their creative team, and then they suggested I come here and talk to you guys, because the devs closely watches these forums...So guys, I'm begging you...I played all day, every day, I follow competitive, I watch Siege Youtubers for strats and stuff, My point being, I'm very into the game, and I can't play it whatsoever now...I would rather play with 180ms ping than not being able to play at all...
The option is currently available on PC but not for console. It was not intended for console to do it in the first place. If you are being redirected to your incorrect data center, you should be reaching out to support.
We've made note of the long queue times for the SA severs. Long queue times depends on when you are queuing, as queuing during non-peak times will cause longer queue times.
