Three times whilst playing rainbow six siege the game has crashed mid match and then has proceeded to cause almost all applications on my pc to crash as soon as they open. It was fixed once after a day but then happened later that same day and then could only be fixed by resetting my pc and reinstalling windows, however after I did this the first time siege then crashed again and proceeded to do the same thing, it was during a quick match when I wasn't even shooting it crashed, giving me no crash report and causing other applications (this includes notepad, origin Microsoft edge but does not include Ubisoft connect/uplay, google chrome, discord or steam and the only game which I have found to be able to run was csgo, it was the same programs that I was able to run all 3 times when this occurred) to instantly crash again, for example Spotify closed the second siege crashed. It happened recently just after I reinstalled it to play again after not playing it at all for ~6 months this issue has never happened before now and I used to play this game several years ago on the same pc and os and no. This happened literally hours after reinstalling windows so I doubt my windows was corrupt unless siege did that to it. It is also not my storage device as games and programs across all 3 of my storage devices do not work and steam has worked on both my main SSD and HDD. When I try to run siege it does run however it only gets to the small loading screen that takes up a little box in the centre of the screen and just freezes on that going non-responsive if I click or hover over it and again, leaving no crash report when it closes. It even stops me from resetting my pc as it causes the dialogue window to close when I go to reset it so I must do it through the advanced boot menu.

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear that you are experiencing Rainbow Six: Siege crashing. I have checked the DX Diag you have linked and can see that your Windows is on version 10.0.19041. The latest version is 10.0.19042, please update to this.

Additionally, your GPU Driver may be out of date, can you check if there is any updates for this. You can find how to do this and some other handy troubleshooting steps that may help HERE.
